Cycles, movement and lunar influence

Tides is The Modular Beat's second concept album. It considers the tides as a model of rhythmic return and reflects on the moon's visible and invisible influence on life. Movement is understood not as a straight line but as a cycle of advance, retreat and renewal.

The music expands the project's sound through new electronic textures and experiments with a long bass string. Resonance, vibration and repetition become part of the concept itself, giving the album a physical sense of pull and release. The accompanying videos follow the same approach and extend the release into a more coherent audiovisual work.

Vocals complement the arrangements without taking over their atmospheric role. Short mantras and passages of invented language loosen words from fixed meanings, allowing tone, rhythm and repetition to communicate alongside the instruments.

The texts revolve around cycles, gravity, change and the relationship between inner experience and natural forces. Their open imagery suggests that human moods and memories are also shaped by recurring movements. Meaning emerges gradually through sound and association rather than through linear stories.
